Sara Carpenter, Executive Director for Professional eLearning Programs I’ve been developing and supporting online learning for over 12 years: primarily asynchronous learning for healthcare, business, and government. I love applying evidence-based learning theory and practices in innovative ways to improve learning outcomes. Interests: Increasing learner engagement in the classroom and online. Creating engaging, interactive eLearning. Creating learning activities that improve learning outcomes. Creating engaging multimedia programs with audio, images, video, and animations.

Jen Mlyniec, Instructional Designer I have been working in education since 2006 in both higher education and K-12 public schools. I spent 6 years as an instructional technologist at Germanna Community College before joining ACPHS as an instructional designer. I also teach online communications courses for Germanna Community College. Interests: Authentic learner-centered teaching and learning practices, effective use of multimedia for collaboration, innovative instructor presence for student engagement.

Lily Shafer-Lahnum, Instructional Designer My career in instructional technology started when I was an undergraduate Helpdesk technician in 2005. Since then, I have worked at University at Albany and the College of Saint Rose in instructional design and have gained my master's in Library and Information Science, with a focus on information literacy education and copyright. I also teach Introduction to Computer Science for Non-Majors at Saint Rose. Interests: Meaningful gamification of learning, open educational resources and Creative Commons/CopyLeft, innovative assessment of learning, and inclusive teaching and learning design. |
