Study tool  can help students understand and retain complex concepts by providing clear explanations. Develop practice test questions and virtual tutoring for students who need assistance

Brainstorming  can generate ideas quickly and can assist with brainstorming and coming up potential topics for research

Summarizing difficult articles  can break down technical articles into key concepts that are easier to understand 

Language assistance can be useful tool for language learning since it can translate text from one language to another. Supports more than 50 languages

Limitations

Cheating could be used to plagiarize or to cheat if users copy answers from the tool

Bias   trained on data and writings that may contain bias,so it can sometimes generate responses that discriminate against gender, race and other minority groups

Currency  internal knowledge base may not be up to date, so it may not have the most current information on all topics. Users are unable to access real-time information or current events

Accuracy  frequently provides incorrect or misleading information. Users should always fact check the information they receive from AI 

Fake references  Although a tool can generate a bibliography or works cited page,the references are often incorrect or fake. Citations should be checked to verify they exist. 

Lack of Creativity and Critical Thinking  tool does not "think" when it replies to user prompts. Problem solving, creative thinking and applying knowledge to new contexts is limited with AI.
