Welcome to the PSC 451 Scientific Literature Evaulation of Medical Cannabis Guide
As complex botanical products, medical cannabis have not been approved by the US FDA and still a controlled substance at Federal level, but have been legalized and available in many states. Regulatory and social issues aside, this course scientifically evaluates chemistry, pharmacology and clinical literatures to discuss the mechanism of action of cannabinoids, the discovery and functions of endocannabinoid systems, their therapeutic potentials, and health risks.
