Research Commons @ ACPHS

What is Research Commons @ ACPHS?

Research Commons @ ACPHS is the institutional repository for

Albany College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences

Aims

The ACPHS Institutional Repository (IR) supports the research and teaching mission of ACPHS by collecting in one digital space the College’s research and scholarly output. The IR preserves the research and scholarship of the ACPHS community and makes it accessible to the wider public, enabling the College to effectively promote and exchange ideas produced by ACPHS researchers and scholars. The ACPHS Library maintains the repository.

The Institutional Repository supports open access (OA) which expands shared knowledge and accelerates multi-disciplinary breakthroughs in research. IR records are accessible to the public and are discoverable by online search engines such as Google Scholar. Some material may not be immediately accessible due to publisher embargoes, copyright, or other issues.

Scope

Research Commons @ ACPHS Institutional Repository (IR) primarily collects research and scholarly works created by ACPHS faculty, staff and students. Work may include formal publications, masters theses, gray literature (research posters, conference papers, academic papers, white papers, technical reports, etc), data, databases, open education resources or any other work irrespective of format. The IR also collects materials from scholarly conferences and events held at ACPHS.
