You'll be learning more about the library services and resources that will help you succeed at ACPHS when you complete a library orientation required for your GEN BIO course.

How to Get Help

In person: Visit the Library Services Desk in Albany or make an appointment with a librarian.

Chat: Chat with an ACPHS librarian. Available whenever the Lewis Library and/or Information Commons are open.

Get Started Using the Library

HOURS & ACCESS

  • Monday – Thursday: 8am-10pm
  • Friday:      8am-6pm
  • Saturday: 10am-6pm 
  • Sunday:    1pm-10pm

The Library is open until 6pm during the first week of classes.  Regular semester hours start on Tuesday, September 5th.  Any exceptions to the regular hours are posted on the door and they are always available on our Library Website

You will need your FOB to gain entry to the Library during all hours of operation. To report any problems with your fob, please click here.

Library Card

You can begin checking out library materials or a study room at any time.  You are already in our system and your Student ID card also serves as your Library Card.  Please make sure you have it with you when you come to the Library.

Library Study Space

There are lots of different study spaces for you to choose from in the library including 10 group study rooms. Study rooms are available on a first come, first served basis and the check-out period is 3 hours. 

Fun

Blankets & Beach Chairs

While the weather is still nice we have picnic blankets and beach chairs available for you to borrow and use out on the lawn.

Computing & Printing

We have three PCs in the library for you to use if you don’t have your laptop with you.

A printer is available for student use in the Library.  There is also one in the Student Center.  For more information link here.
