Steps, tips and library tools to help you with your Humanities Research

HELP! Where can I get it?

IF YOU NEED HELP:

  • Selecting keywords to describe your topic
  • Selecting, locating and/or searching relevant library resources

ASK A LIBRARIAN.  Librarians are available to help you in the Library and via email, phone, text or chat.  For more information about how to contact a librarian, including how to make a research appointment, click here

 

 IF YOU NEED HELP:

  • Gaining a better understanding of your topic
  • Narrowing or broadening your topic
  • Understanding the assignment

ASK YOUR PROFESSOR.  Most professors have office hours and/or can be reached via email.

 

IF YOU NEED HELP:

  • developing your paper's ideas
  • creating an outline
  • editing and revising your paper

VISIT THE WRITING CENTER on the third floor of the Library Building.  Peer and professional tutors are available by appointment or on a drop-in basis.
