Hofstra University Master of Public Health (MPH)The 42-credit Master of Public Health (MPH) program at Hofstra University (located on Long Island, New York) offers an innovative curriculum and advanced training for the next generation of public health professionals. Drawing on the expertise and resources of Hofstra's programs in the Department of Population Health, Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and Northwell Health, the Master of Public Health program's interdisciplinary approach recognizes the contributions of other disciplines, including: business, economics, education, law, political science, psychology, public administration, and sociology.
In addition, the MPH degree faculty emphasizes the interconnectedness of public health and clinical medicine and provides a solid foundation in core skills, such as: assessment and research, program planning, evaluation, and policy development.
We also offer an Advanced Certificate in Foundations of Public Health, and JD/MPH and MD/MPH dual-degrees.
