Vermont Deadlines

There is no deadline to register to vote in Vermont.  All active registered voters eligible to vote in Vermont will receive a ballot by mail between September 21 and October 1.

The state is encouraging ballots to be mailed by 10/24 to ensure they will arrive in time. After that, you can drop off your ballot to your town clerk in person or deliver it to the polls by 7PM on election day.

If you prefer to vote in person, polling places will still be open. Make your voting plan if you plan to vote in person.
